He expressed these views during a meeting with an Asian Development Bank (ADB) team, headed by Norman Larocque, Principal Education Specialist in ADB, held here on Wednesday. Amongst others, the meeting was also attended by TEVTA COO Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Asian Development Bank representatives Herman Sonneveld, Alexander Siboui and Isabel Martin.
The TEVTA Chairman said that provision of fully equipped modern labs in TEVTA institutions with the assistance of ADB was amongst his top priorities so that the TEVTA students could acquire top class expertise by having a hands-on training in these labs. "Linkage with industries would be strengthened under the programme for adapting the courses in accordance with their requirements for ensuring preparation of a readily acceptable skill force for the job market," he added.
